On November 30, 2018, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Dongping Jiuxin Biochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiuxin Biochemical Group) and the Nanjing Institute of Wild Plant Comprehensive Utilization (hereinafter referred to as the Nanjing Institute of Plants), together with the unveiling ceremony of the Manting Biopharmaceutical and Cosmeceutical R&D Center, was solemnly held in Beijing.

At this conference, Jiuxin Biochemical Group and the Nanjing Institute of Botany forged a groundbreaking strategic partnership. Building on their existing research into plant-based mite‑control technologies, they are now advancing with cutting‑edge biotechnological innovations. The Nanjing Institute of Botany is Asia’s largest national research institute dedicated to wild plants, with numerous plant‑based scientific breakthroughs that rank among the world’s most advanced. With this comprehensive upgrade to their strategic collaboration, the Manting Biopharmaceutical and Cosmeceutical R&D Center has been officially established.

The Manting Biopharmaceutical Cosmetics R&D Center, grounded in the research of bio‑based anti‑mite ingredients, plans to leverage the scientific expertise of the Nanjing Institute of Botany over the next five years to bring more biotechnology patents into the daily‑care and skincare sectors. Mr. Zhang Weiming, former director of the Nanjing Institute of Botany, reflected on the first five years of collaboration with Manting, highlighting its remarkable achievements. During that period, several groundbreaking bio‑patent innovations—most notably those related to green Sichuan pepper—were successfully integrated into skincare products, yielding outstanding results. Mr. Wang Songjun, the current director of the Nanjing Institute of Botany, outlined the vision for the second phase of their strategic partnership: deepening collaboration with Manting to further develop bio‑pharmaceutical cosmetic products centered on green Sichuan pepper, capitalizing on its proven anti‑mite efficacy, and pursuing the comprehensive market launch of differentiated bio‑pharmaceutical cosmetics. Meanwhile, Mr. Wang Haibo, vice president of the Jiuxin Group, revealed on site that Manting’s brand‑new line of pharmaceutical‑cosmetic products will also be officially introduced in the near future.

The Manting brand, under the Jiuxin Biochemical Group, boasts a sixteen-year legacy in mite removal. As a leading name in this field, Manting actively participates in national research and outreach initiatives to combat dust mites. With growing knowledge and awareness about mite control, consumers now embrace a holistic, three-dimensional approach to household mite elimination. The establishment of the Manting Biomedical Cosmetics R&D Center heralds the imminent arrival of cutting-edge solutions for problematic skin. From “one-size-fits‑all” formulas to personalized, individualized treatments, consumers can look forward to more scientifically grounded, bio‑based skincare.
